About this project
With this app, which is currently available for Android, users enter their current 1RM (one-rep maximum) for squats, bench presses, and deadlifts. Lyftplan then generates a structured training program with weight percentages based on the 1RM values the user has entered. During each workout, you log weight, reps, and RPE per set. The app also calculates an estimated 1RM in real time, detects new personal records (1RM), and provides feedback on each workout. The app is currently under development.
Some of the features:
Automatic weight generation based on personal maximum weights
Ability to swap out exercises
Wendler 5/3/1 program with percentage-based weights
Logging per set with weight, reps, and RPE
Estimated 1RM calculation and trend visualization
Warm-up and calculation of weight plates on the bar
PR detection and completed programs saved as history
Readiness check-in (sleep, soreness, stress, motivation) before your workout
Written training insights (e.g., “Your bench press e1RM increased by 6% after this training program”)
Offline support (useful when reception in the gym is poor) with cloud synchronization
Data export and deletion (GDPR-compliant)
Various color themes
